Eli Stone
Chicago-based campaign operative and Brandeis University student
Eli Stone is an experienced campaign operative, having managed three campaigns before the age of 20. In 2017, his freshman year of high school, fueled by a passion for change and the election of Donald Trump, Stone got involved at the local level and began working on campaigns. From 2017-2021, Stone worked with over 10 campaigns and organizations from local aldermanic races, to statewide gubernatorial campaigns, and national organizations.
Most notably, Stone ran the peer-to-peer texting program for Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s 2019 campaign, served as communications director for Rep. Yoni Pizer’s campaign, and, most recently, was the campaign manager for Evanston’s new mayor, Daniel Biss. In a 2020 profile of Stone, Crain’s Chicago Business referred to him as, “the 18-year-old managing comms in one of the state’s most closely watched races.” Stone is currently in a gap year and will attend Brandeis University in the fall of 2021.
