Denise Dubravec is the Winnetka Campus Principal/Assistant Superintendent of New Trier High School, District 203. She is in her twenty-sixth year as a school administrator and has enjoyed a 12-year tenure within the New Trier community. Ms. Dubravec is responsible for the overall campus operations, all student programming, activities, school climate, Adviser program, athletics, and Performing Arts programs. She works closely with the New Trier Parents’ Association and the New Trier Fine Arts Association in supporting programing for students and parents.
Before immersing herself in New Trier, Ms. Dubravec served as a principal in the San Ramon Valley School District in Northern California. This blend of cross-regional experiences has given her an expansive view of educational best practices and leadership dynamics. While in California she completed a two-year Principal’s Fellowship at Stanford University where she received a rich blend of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Ms. Dubravec is first and foremost an advocate for students and is dedicated to the growth, safety, and well-being of her students. This means not only ensuring academic achievement but also nurturing the holistic development of every student.
