Dale Stephens was named one of the Forbes Magazine‘s “30 Under 30” for founding UnCollege, which declared that Americans pay too much for college educations and learn too little. Stephens described how to remedy that in his book Hacking Your Education: Escape Lectures, Save Thousands, and Hustle Your Way to a Brighter Future. Stephens was chosen for the inaugural group of Thiel Fellows, established by billionaire PayPal founder Peter Thiel.
