The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is excited to announce that our 2024 Summer Art Camp enrollment is now open. The EAC offers thematic and studio art camps for ages 4-18 from June 10 – August 16, 2024.
The Evanston Art Center values creative exploration and cultivation because there is no wrong way to create art. Through different pedagogical approaches, the EAC embraces critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and experimentation. We focus on sharing new techniques and skills to jump-start beginners and enhance existing interests. The EAC is an inclusive space that values multiple perspectives and interpretations in the classrooms and the galleries. Join us this summer to explore, experiment, and create at the Evanston Art Center!
Each week campers ages 4-5 and 6-8 will create colorful art projects following new and exciting themes. Join us for Magical Mythical Creatures, Art Around the World, Rainforest Adventure, and more! Although the weekly themes are the same for both age groups, the projects will vary and adapt to each age level. Full-day campers will create different projects in the afternoon.
For campers ages 9-11 and 12-14, the EAC offers a wide array of studio art camps including Filmmaker’s Camp, Cartooning Studio, Inventor’s Designs, and more! For high school students, the EAC offers weekly intensives including Ceramic Handbuilding, Figure & Anatomy Drawing, 3D Printing, and more!
