Caitlin McLennan

Caitlin McLennan is the Assistant Head of Lower School at North Shore Country Day in Winnetka, Illinois. She works in partnership with the Head of Lower School to oversee the lower school program. She is involved in all aspects of the lower school, including recruitment and retention of faculty, daily operations of the school, admissions work, professional development for faculty, and curriculum analysis and development.

Ms. McLennan has been at NSCD since 2010. She taught fourth and fifth grade there for 11 years before transitioning into her current administrative role. Prior to her work at NSCD, she taught at Kampala International School Uganda and Athens College in Greece. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and art history from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Education in advanced teaching (gifted education) from Northwestern University.
